Holiday home with a pool in Panormo

In Panormo, Rethymno, we built a modern holiday home of about 200 m², designed to offer comfort, privacy and a high standard of hospitality in a carefully designed setting.

The construction posed increased technical demands because of groundwater at foundation level. This was addressed with special technical and construction solutions, with particular emphasis on proper foundations, waterproofing and the long-term protection of the building from moisture and water.

Despite the demanding conditions of the plot, the result is a home that combines structural safety with modern architecture and a restrained aesthetic. Clean lines, bright surfaces, large openings and glass elements strengthen the connection between inside and outside, creating a sense of space and openness.

At the heart of the home is the private courtyard with a pool, designed as a natural extension of the living spaces. Direct access from inside to the courtyard and pool creates a single place for relaxation and leisure, suited to the needs of a modern holiday home.

The architecture is completed by spacious balconies, sheltered outdoor areas and careful detailing, creating an ideal setting for holiday use and hospitality. Particular attention was paid to the choice of materials and the quality of construction, so that the result combines aesthetics, functionality and durability.

The project is a characteristic example of construction in which the particular technical conditions of the plot were turned, through good design and specialised solutions, into a modern, high-quality holiday home with a strong character and a focus on guest comfort.
